Established in February 1992 by Mr Peter Watts and his son Dale, London And Home Counties Fire has grown into a company that prides itself on the honest, reliable and above all ethical service it gives all of its customers in the supply, service, routine inspection, refilling and renovation of portable fire extinguishers, associated products and in the creation of fire risk assessments.  The continued growth year on year has proven it works. 

London And Home Counties Fire prides itself on quality of service, a very high standard of workmanship and excellent ongoing customer support.. It is committed to training and continuous improvement among its staff, investing in their development to ensure that knowledge and skills are kept up to date. In the field of fire extinguisher maintenance we are amongst a very few companies that not only have the knowledge, but the expertise to service, maintain, repair or overhaul fire extinguishers.

In late 1999  the name 'Extinguisher Doctor' was created, the easy to remember name has become synonymous with quality, honesty and reliability.

2009 marks the seventeenth year in business making London And Home Counties Fire one of the South East’s longest established fire protection companies.

A major factor of London And Home Counties Fire is its commitment to carry a fully comprehensive insurance cover, this includes public liability, product liability, wrongful advice and failure to fulfil (efficacy), the legal requirement of any business is only to have public liability. The other factor is its approach to health and safety, we have onboard our vehicles copies of all COSHH datasheets, method statements, risk assessments and any other health and safety literature you may require, we are  third party health and safety audited under the 'SAFEcontractor' scheme.

London And Home Counties Fire is a member of the British Fire Consortium, The UK Fire Association and also a member of the 'buy with confidence' scheme run by Kent County Council Trading Standards (see news page for further information).
