Fire Extinguisher Training

The Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 has made fire safety training a legal requirement for staff members.  The training is carried out at your premises and at a time and frequency that suits your company.

 

The training does not have to be a 'hands on'  live demonstration, it can be a simple half hour verbal course, with the aid of films to teach people how to use extinguishers.

 

The extinguisher course includes the following

 

1. The process of fire extinguisher identification (EN3 & BS5423)

2. Selecting the correct extinguishers for different types of fire

3. Fire extinguisher features

4. The methodology behind the use of fire extinguishers

5. Practical demonstrations

6. We usually finish with a simple questionaire covering the details discussed

7. Each person sitting the course will recieve a certificate if the questionaire is at least 75% correct.
