London and Home Counties Fire Protection was founded in February 1992 and became Extinguisher Doctor Limited in 2015. From our base in Mid Kent, we are located conveniently to cover Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Essex, and London.

 Extinguisher Doctor Limited offers cost-effective service and maintenance plans, and it prides itself on the quality of its service, the very high standard of work, and excellent ongoing customer support. We are among the very few companies with the knowledge and the expertise to service, recharge, repair, or overhaul fire extinguishers.  Continued company growth proves it works. 2021 will mark our 29th year in business, making us one of Kent's longest established independent fire extinguisher companies.

The company has a comprehensive insurance cover. All company personnel are DBS\CRB checked to ensure both yours and our peace of mind. 

Extinguisher Doctor Limited is a member of The British Fire Consortium, The UK Fire Association, Safecontractor Scheme, Constructionline, and The Contractors Health And Safety Scheme. The Company also holds a waste carriers license, which legally allows us to help you dispose of your old fire extinguishers.

Our registered fire extinguisher technicians service and recharge portable fire extinguishers wherever possible and will not just try to sell you new fire extinguishers, which sadly has become the standard practice of most fire extinguisher companies today.  All fire extinguisher technicians are trained, registered, and have completed refresher courses to satisfy BS 5306 pt 3.
